..And what is it to work with love? It is to weave the
cloth with threads drawn from your heart, even as if your Beloved were to wear that cloth."
~ Kahlil Gibran
Thank you visiting this site! I hope you find it informative and inspirational. I was raised in the beautiful coastal area of Monterey County, California. It was here that I began my ever unfolding journey as a holistic and integrative health counselor, facilitator, and educator. I have had the opportunity to live, work, and study in several places, sharing my expertise in Monterey, San Francisco, Boston, Salt Lake City, and now, happy to say, the East Bay of California for the long term!
I have 24 years of professional and teaching experience in fitness/health, consulting, energy healing, and body/mind movement practices. I gravitate toward those forms of healing that presume the essential strength and wisdom in people, and the methods which affirm that wholeness.
I remain committed to life-long learning in my field so that I can bring the best services available to my clients' unique needs. Here's a snapshot of my background and education: (feel free to call or email with specific questions or for more info)

My approach is reverent yet lighthearted. My personal life and work are strongly influenced by the Eastern practices of mindfulness and meditation, and Judaism. I am passionate about creating a safe space for my clients and students to experience deep healing and transformation in their lives.
In addition, my personal and ongoing journey toward health, as I successfully manage Multiple Sclerosis, reminds me of the importance of compassion in supporting the process of healing.
As a volunteer I have provided safe creative movement classes to seniors, as well as for adults with Down syndrome. I currently volunteer for seniors in various locations, offering an experience of deep inner peace through gentle movement and guided relaxation.
I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and 11 year old son, biking, practicing yoga, dancing, writing, chanting, (devotional singing) and recording guided meditations. Living my life as an offering brings me deep fulfillment and gratitude. I can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing!
